Who are we?

We are one of the UK’s largest providers of employee benefits. Our expertise covers actuarial and investment consulting, wealth management, healthcare and employee healthcare. We also work with international advisors to provide services to multinational corporations.

We offer an integrated service for our clients’ every pension and benefits requirement – advising employers and their employees on flexible packages, pensions, investments, healthcare protection and wealth management.

Trustee solutions

We train, support and advise the trustees of trust based occupational schemes. The schemes are established by employers under trust documentation that outlines rules and benefits. They are run by trustees who are nominated by the employer and employees. Our services are designed to make sure the scheme is managed efficiently, and we offer third party administration as well as actuarial advice, communication and design support.

Pension solutions

We take the time to understand the exact needs of each business or individual before tailoring their pensions programme. And we can provide cost-effective and efficient programmes for any company of any size. Our services span from consultation, planning and defining the right contribution through to administration, actuarial review and winding up a pension scheme.  A key part of our offering is the way we de-risk pension schemes for our clients. Many employers face risks when it comes to the cost of funding and running pension programmes. So our experts help them establish the best strategies to remove these risks and get the most out of their schemes – for their business and their employees.

Employee benefits solutions

Our core services are designing and implementing flexible benefits packages; and helping employers communicate these effectively to their employees. This allows us to help them cut costs, improve their recruitment offering and enjoy better staff retention. Our consultants work with the client to create packages from a wide selection of benefits. These include private life assurance, medical and travel insurance, childcare vouchers and much more.

International solutions

We provide the same employee benefits services to clients within multinational organisations. Working with advisors across JLT’s operating countries gives us access to local knowledge and opportunities to collaborate when implementing international pension and benefit schemes. Our online benefits management system, BenPal, is crucial to helping us overcome the complexity of working with international corporations.

Online solutions

BenPal brings all client benefits together in one place online. The online tool helps employers and employees access, alter and manage all their benefits data at any time. It can be used to run pension plans, risk and health schemes, rewards statements and more – giving clients greater control over their benefit costs, communications and planning and empowering their employees.

Healthcare solutions

We help clients to save money on their health insurance and life assurance premiums; reduce lost working hours through absence; and find ways to improve staff morale. We create programmes that encompass occupational healthcare, private healthcare, integrated health-risk management, dental care, counselling and crisis management.

Wealth management

Our financial and investment advisors work with employers and employees across all aspect of financial planning. Services include monitoring investment portfolios, planning inheritance tax and pensions, and identifying the most appropriate retirement plan.

Investment solutions

We look at all aspects of investing to support the sponsoring employer and trustees of both DB and DC schemes, covering advice on the full range of investment consulting services, including performance monitoring, investment strategy and asset allocation advice, derisking advice and help and support when reviewing and choosing the right fund manager for your mandate – including JLT’s own funds run by JLT Investment Management.
